ESAAR believes that every man, woman and child are entitled to education – a successful and productive future is impossible without it. Education also helps end, in the long term, the cycle of poverty and disease and provides a foundation for sustainable development. A quality education better equips girls and boys with the knowledge and skills necessary to adopt healthy lifestyles and, take an active role in social, economic and political decision making as they enter the phases of adolescence and adulthood.

ESAAR makes strenuous efforts to ensure that every child regardless of gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic background or circumstances has access to education. We focus on gender equality and work towards eliminating disparities of all kinds. ESAAR works in partnership with the Ministry of Education towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals.
Since 2009, education standards in Afghanistan have continued to improve and an increasing number of teachers have better pedagogical and subject knowledge. Because education institutions collapsed after the communist regime took power in the 70s, we now have a tough road ahead to revive & revitalize an education system that suffered heavy abuse for three decades
To prevent achievements from being squandered, ESAAR plans to improve Afghan students’ educational attainment in collaboration with national and international donor organizations. ESAAR strives to work as hard as possible to alleviate poverty, with as much assistance given as possible. It will also provide educational facilities to pupils who don’t have access to an equal education for boys and girls in Afghanistan.
